Welcome to Ashtabula Township Park Commission

Lake Shore Park a 55 acre well-maintained and manicured park along the shores of Lake Erie. The Park provides an ideal spot for families to enjoy the outdoors and it brings many visitors to the area.

Lake Shore Park hosts many activities. A public boat launch gives boaters access to Lake Erie. A classic car show is held Sundays all through the summer. A fenced in playground provides a safe area for children to play. Waterfowl ponds provide an ideal location to view ducks and swans, even a pair of peacocks can be viewed near the pond. Horseshoe pits, a volleyball court and bocce courts are available for all park visitors. An 18 hole Disc Golf course can also be used year round. Five pavilions with fantastic views are available for any type of family outing and there are picnic tables throughout the park. A large beach is also right on the shore of Lake Erie, with lifeguards through the summer.

Activities sponsored by the park include the Annual Easter Egg Hunt and the Annual Rib Burn Off. During the Holiday Season the park also hosts the Annual Lights on the Lake drive-thru Holiday lighting display.

People from all over Northeast Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and Northern West Virginia have chosen Lake Shore Park for family outings, company, union, and political gatherings. We hope you, too, will find our township parks to be just as enjoyable.
